The South Korean giant uses very high-quality AMOLED matrices in its smartphones, outperforming most competitors in terms of color rendering and brightness margin. For a reasonable price, Samsung also offers great cameras and powerful hardware. But most of the company's devices have one drawback - a small battery capacity, which negatively affects the autonomy. Therefore, we decided to compile a rating of Samsung smartphones with a good battery, including all new devices that ideally combine price and technical characteristics.

The range of the South Korean brand does not include many phones with a large battery capacity. Moreover, some of them are outdated, while others are inferior in price, quality and functionality to the updated models in the line. For this reason, only 6 smartphones were included in the review, each of which gained popularity among users. But we did not assign them to places, since all the devices described can be attributed to different categories. For convenience, smartphones in the review are sorted in ascending order of price.

1.Samsung Galaxy J8 (2018) 32GB

In customer reviews, the Galaxy J8 is often called the company's best budget model. In stores, this unit is offered from 175 $... For this price, the buyer will receive a 6-inch screen with a resolution of 1480x720 pixels, a dual main camera (16/5 MP), and a 16-megapixel front camera.

Galaxy J8 (2018) is one of the few Samsung devices with a separate tray for SIM cards and memory cards. The maximum supported microSD size is 256 GB, so if 32 GB of storage is not enough for you, it can be easily expanded.

The smartphone supports all popular LTE bands, and also has Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi 802.11n wireless modules. As the hardware platform, the manufacturer chose a Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 graphics, which are complemented by 3 GB of RAM.

The characteristics of the Galaxy A6 Plus mobile phone are very similar to the model described above. However, this smartphone has several improvements, for which it makes sense to overpay 56 $:

1. screen with a diagonal of 6 inches and a resolution of 2220x1080 pixels;
2. 24-megapixel main camera with f / 1.9 aperture;
3. NFC module for contactless payment for purchases.

The rear camera, processor, amount of memory and graphics accelerator are the same here. Even the dimensions of the Galaxy A6 + differ from the J8 by only tenths of a millimeter. However, this device also differs from the previous smartphone in the impossibility of simultaneous installation of 2 SIM and a memory card, which is a small disadvantage.

But we can praise the best Samsung smartphone battery (for its price) and good optimization. This made it possible to achieve an average autonomy of 2 days with periodic use of all wireless modules, frequent calls, active Internet surfing and listening to music.

3. Samsung Galaxy A8 + SM-A730F / DS

A real gift for selfie lovers - the Galaxy A8 Plus. This Samsung smartphone with a powerful 3500 mAh battery is equipped with a dual main camera with 16 and 8 MP modules. All sensors, including the main one at 16 MP, are of our own production. The same applies to the Exynos 7885 processor (2 x 2.2 GHz, 2 x 1.6 GHz), paired with the Mali-G71 graphics. The mobile phone has 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of permanent memory (9.3 of them are occupied by the system and pre-installed software). The Galaxy A8 Plus also has NFC and a USB Type-C port. However, the latter complies with the 2.0 standard, so its speed is not the highest. However, at a price below 280 $ to write it down as a cons is clearly not worth it.

Advantages:

• fast work of the system;
• a good margin of brightness;
• excellent image quality at night;
• availability of protection according to the IP68 standard;
• 1.5 - 2 days of battery life;

4.Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) 6 / 128GB

Next in line is the first-class sub-flagship Galaxy A9. It is ideal for buyers looking for a no-nonsense powerful smartphone from Samsung. The hardware of the Galaxy A9 easily handles any application. There are no problems with most games either, since Snapdragon 660, Adreno 512 and 6 GB of RAM immediately are well sharpened for such tasks. The user can enjoy digital entertainment on a 6.3-inch screen with a resolution of 2280x1080 pixels. The device is powered by a 3800 mAh battery.

The most interesting innovation in the Galaxy A9 (2018) is the presence of 4 cameras at once. The need for such a number of modules can be called controversial, but the very fact of their presence is important, which indicates the manufacturer's desire to experiment. The cameras shoot, by the way, quite decently (though worse than the Galaxy S8 and Note 9). One of the smartphone modules has a standard viewing angle. The second sensor is widescreen (120 degrees). Two more are needed to blur the background, which could be done with the first two cameras, and a 2x optical zoom.

5.Samsung Galaxy S9 + 64GB

Do you want to choose a good smartphone from Samsung based on reviews? Pay attention to the Galaxy S9 Plus. This smartphone pleases its owners for almost a year. The model we have chosen is distinguished by an excellent 6.2-inch screen with a resolution of 2960x1440 pixels (Super AMOLED), as well as a powerful hardware platform:

The last smartphone with a good battery and camera in the review belongs to the flagship Note line. Its specifications are almost identical to the Galaxy S9 Plus discussed above. The main difference between the Note 9 is the stylus. This is a nice bonus, but not everyone needs it, so decide if you are ready to overpay a few thousand rubles for this option.

In the new Galaxy Note, the stylus received its own battery and connects to the phone via Bluetooth. At the same time, it is suitable not only for drawing or taking notes, but also for other tasks, such as switching tracks, flipping through slides and pictures to the camera when the user is moving away from the device.

As for other changes, the smartphone received a 4000 mAh battery versus 3500 in the S9 +, as well as more capacious storage (128 GB versus 64). The brightness, color reproduction and resolution of the display remained the same as in the S9 Plus, but its diagonal increased by 0.2 inches, which slightly reduced the pixel density from 531 ppi to 514 ppi.
