JBL's miniature wireless Flip speaker has been a mainstream product for many years, and at CES 2019, the company unveiled its latest iteration, the Flip 5.
IN 2025 JBL's small portable speaker received a completely redesigned design. The manufacturer claims that the speaker looks more like a "treadmill" now. The increased cone area allows the speaker to deliver more surround sound. In simple terms, this should mean clearer highs and deeper bass. Basically, all the innovations are about improved sound quality.
The Flip 5 has a USB-C connector, which is used to charge a 4800 mAh battery, which should be enough for 12 hours of continuous use.
And, as you'd expect, the Flip's signature waterproof rubber casing remains unchanged. In addition, the manufacturer left the option of a built-in speakerphone.
JBL Flip 5 will go on sale in the spring 2025 year, the cost of the device will be € 129 / $ 99.95. The speaker will be sold in 11 different colors, including Dusty Pink (pink), River Teal (turquoise), Fiesta Red (red) and Squad (camouflage).
