Of course, this is exactly what the whole calculation goes for, but is this the right decision? Most likely, from a marketing point of view, it can be beneficial, but for the end consumer a smartphone can only raise questions. In terms of camera parameters, the device can compete with the mastodons of this market, but can Nokia give something else? Yes, at least PureView is proud of its amazing display and support for wireless charging. However, this may not be enough. When taking pictures, the smartphone combines all five cameras into one image, further processing it into an image of 12 megapixel format. Naturally, this technology works unnoticed by the user.
Nokia has guaranteed incredible detail of the things being photographed and the ability to easily measure around 1200 layers of various information in the range from 7 cm to 40 m. In other smartphones, this figure is only about ten layers. You can even experience different depths in photos, how it works, Nokia has built this feature into the Google Photos app.
Overall, the camera looks more than good. True, the presence or absence of some functions is difficult to assess without comparison, and there are no such devices on the market yet. But we can definitely say that PureView 9, if not the best, then one of the best flagships in terms of the camera.

According to the manufacturer, the smartphone does not need optical stabilization due to the fact that the presence of so many cameras can significantly reduce the exposure time. Moreover, it works even at night.
However, when switching to video shooting, we can say that the result looks absolutely no different from competitors. When shooting video, one sensor works to help smooth the image. Thus, we can say that in this aspect the smartphone does not stand out at all. Nokia 9 PureView performance
In the Nokia 9 review, it is worth touching on the topic of performance, because this is a rather important factor and everything is ambiguous here. PureView goes to 2025 year, but for some unknown reason, the Snapdragon 845 from Qualcomm is installed. The Snapdragon 845 is definitely a good processor, but this year all flagship smartphone manufacturers are installing the 855, which is many times better.
Most likely, this decision is due to the cameras, but the 845 is really not as good as the 855. It can be noted that thanks to the Android 9.0 version, it will not be noticeable that the smartphone can produce better results.
A beautiful POLED display that has excellent color reproduction, good resolution and usable brightness. It is worth mentioning wireless charging, it is extremely pleasing that developers are starting to pay attention to this technology. It is worth highlighting the presence of a USB-C port in the phone and support for Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0
Also, PureView 9 lacks a headphone jack. This is a fairly common trend for the coming years, literally everyone is abandoning this connector, except that in some versions of Samsung it is still present.

Should you buy the Nokia 9 PureView
The smartphone turned out to be quite ordinary, despite the photo opportunities. Last year's processor, which is still relevant, but unforgivable for a flagship. Most likely, only ardent fans of Nokia will buy the phone, because other people simply do not need it. For this money, you can find any other flagship, in which, naturally, the camera will be worse, but the performance will be higher, the screen is better and in general there will be more possibilities. Each buyer decides for himself, but unfortunately, Nokia 9 PureView cannot offer anything special except photo capabilities.
